Playback DV camcorder on your PC with full control over the camcorder

River Past PlayDV is a utility that permits you to playback DV camcorder on your PC.

PlayDV supports hog plugs. You can connect and disconnect the camcorder and it will detect the change automatically.

Now you can view your DV tape on your PC! PlayDV gives you the full control over the DV camcorder connected to your PC via 1394 iLink connection. You can play, pause, stop, rewind, fast forward, step backward, and step forward the tape the same way you control a VCR.

· River Past PlayDV is compatible with all DV camcorders connected to the PC via 1394 FireWire card.

Requirements for this software

• River Past PlayDV is tested to run on any PC with a Pentium III/Celeron CPU of 500 MHz or above. A 1394 FireWire (iLink) card and a sound card is required.

· River Past PlayDV requires DirectX 8.0 or above. We strongly recommend that you always use the latest the latest DX (currently 9.0b) because it provides better stability and performance.

Limitations of this software

• The unregistered version limits video to 320x240

· The recording is limited to 2 minutes
