iPodifier application was designed to automate the process of getting videos onto your iPod

If you have TiVo, Windows Media Center, SageTV or some other device to capture TV content, iPodifier will automatically grab the content from these sources and put it on your iPod, nicely organized into video playlists. You missed The Daily Show lastnight? It will be on your iPod for the train ride in the morning.

Basically, iPodifier application was designed to automate the process of getting videos onto your iPod. Unlike other transcoding software that simple reencodes the video into an iPod compatible format, iPodifier takes it a few steps further. iPodifier automates the entire process of getting video from any source onto your iPod.

• Sync your iPod when recent video is added to iTunes
• Organize all video added to iTunes into playlists
• Add transcoded video to iTunes
• Automatically transcode recent video to iPod format

These are the main features of this software

• Creates a Podcast for any show (comming soon)
• Manage quotas for TV shows (i.e. lets you set how many South Park's you want to keep on your iPod)
• Monitors multiple video source directories for recent video and adds recent videos to the transcoding queue
• Accepts video from a wide variety of sources (i.e. TiVo, Bittorrent, SageTV, Windows Media Center)

What's new in this release

• Recent activity panel displays transcoding activity since last startup
• Podcast feeds is made for each show - This gives you the option of adding TV shows to iTunes as podcasts instead of TV shows. If you have family members with their own iPod, you can store the iPod videos on a server and each family member can subscribe to just the show feeds that they want on their iPod. For those who want iPodifier to run on a different computer than have iTunes on, this permits iPod video to be added by using a Podcast feed. Check the google group for help on how to use the podcast feed feature.
• Better integration with iTunes - TV shows are now imported into iTunes as TV shows (Movies as Movies). Show art is added that will show up in iTunes "Cover Flow" view
