Eenables network administrators to monitor local and networked disks

When the network administrator needs to disable alerting, all alerting is disabled and later e-enabled with a single click of the mouse.

Two different emails is sent out when disk usage runs low. One email is sent to a desktop with detailed information while another email is sent to a hand held device. Both email subjects are configurable and hand held device email subjects is completely configured.

DiskMonitor enables a network administrator to monitor local and networked disks, graphically view usage history, receive custom emails alerts, recurs entire disks to determine directory usage and generate reports.

DiskMonitor uses a Windows Service to poll disk usage. The service can send warning and critical e-mail alerts as well as save usage information for graphical review.

Many disks is configured at once or each disk configured separately.

The disk usage charts is completely configured and emailed to other users from within the application.

All directories is recursed enabling network administrators to determine that directories are using the most space and that directories have large numbers of files.

What's new in this release

• In previous builds, the access permissions report settings were not saved to the directory monitor templates. This bug has been fixed.
• Windows is unable to return access rights for some operating system files, for instance, pagefile.sys. Previously the access permissions report would log an object reference not found error. The code has been modified to log a more useful error.
• The access permissions reports had several path related bugs when monitoring remote

· In previous builds, the directory tree nodes did not reflect the current status after the configuration wizard removed a directory monitor. The tree view as well now updates the current status to any expanded folders under the network views and mapped computer tree nodes when a directory monitor is added or removed....
