CESE 1.4.7
A simulation package for electrophysiology that permits you to use models of electrical activity of excitable cells
CESE can perform simulations using single-cell models (containing both Hodgkin-Huxley (HH) and Markovian current formulations). The typical usage is simulation of action potentials and individual ionic currents. You can visualize model variables, or control them using clamp commands.
Cell Electrophysiology Simulation Environment (CESE) is a comprehensive framework specifically designed to perform computational electrophysiological simulations, for instance, simulations of cardiac myocyte electrical activity. CESE is useful for simulations of action potentials, individual ionic currents, and changes in ionic concentrations.
CESE is a cross-platform program, it runs on any system that has Java runtime environment (JRE) version 1.5 (5.0) or above. CESE was tested on Windows, Solaris, MacOS X, Linux, and AIX.
CESE permits you to perform simulations, create and execute clamping commands, control model parameters, and perform simple data analysis using an intuitive interface.
Requirements for this software
· JDK/JRE version 1.5 (5.0) or above to be installed
What's new in this release
- Improved performance in plot legend.
- Fixed Lock Record action not staying locked.
- Fixed empty printing under certain conditions.
- Added Welcome screen (currently set to CESE survey).
- Added GUI to change plot types. 4 plot types are available: Line, Symbol, Histogram, and Column. Issue [1569325].
