This program permits you to browse and manage the history of your files, you can select to view and/or restore an individual version of a file, or you can select to completely restore your files to how they were at any point in time.

These are the main features of this software

• Full Restore: XR Backup lets you restore all your files to any point in time. You can select the date and time in the past, and a full restore of your files will occur replacing all corrupted or missing files with a clean copy right from the backup store.
• Individual File Restore: The software permits you to browse through your entire backup store and permits you to view and/or restore any specific file individually without forcing you to restore everything.
• Skipped-files-free backup (with manual backup) : XR Backup uses Volume Shadow Copy technology to ensure that no files are skipped during the backup process even if locked by the system or another application.
• Compression: Keep disk usage to a its minimum, XR Backup permits you to compress the backup store with the best reliable compression algorithms
• Alternative Restore Location: you can select a restore location that is different from the original location, you can do that to make sure you're not losing any files and to protect yourself from making mistakes while trying to recover a disaster.
• Flexible file filtering: easily set rules to ignore files and/or folders that you don't want to synchronize, based on virtually any file attribute you can think of.
• Timed Schedule: The program can work on a schedule at any time you want, at the middle of the night, midday, during your lunch break, after you leave work, weekends. etc.
• Encryption: You can select to encrypt your files in the backup store. This means that your files are kept to the maximum safety. Only you can access those files, the password will not be stored in the backup store either that means that its not possible for anyone to find out what your password is.
• Real-time Folder Monitoring: XR Backup works silently in the background to monitor and detect your changes, and will take a copy of your changes corresponding to the rules that you define.

· Informative Logs and email notifications: A detailed logging of all operations is generated at each backup operation. You can setup the program to send you an email notification of the backup process with error reports if any. This will let you know if your unattended or nightly backups were taken care of.
